ALL A FLUTTER

Yes, they do flutter in the wind like butterfly wings. Flutter sleeves, a.k.a butterflies, are light, airy, and feminine. They're typically found on gowns reminiscent of the 1920s-30s era, and those that capture the boho look. Since boho evokes a carefree, flowery spirit, one of its favored silhouettes is the lacey slip dress with a dainty flutter sleeve. Flutters come in all lengths and look best in the lightest weight fabrics, sheers, and laces. Particularly stunning in lace, the arm serves as an ideal backdrop, bringing out the motifs on the netting to their fullest. I love this style sleeve, and  could be my very fave of all time.

This full-length robe was designed to be worn over a crepe slip dress. Ideal for a bride who wants to change her look, going from the drama of the ceremony to an after-party.
