MOONLIT VINEYARD WEDDING

This lovely boho meets modern themed shoot was created to highlight the Longleaf Vineyard in the mountains of North Carolina. As an emerging venue with lots to offer potential clients, we wanted to highlight all aspects of what's possible on the grounds. Summer of Firefly Event Company and Nikki of East-West Vintage Rentals held the overall vision and brought together Asheville's top wedding vendor talent to create this stunningly beautiful visual story of magic + love + color + wine, bathed in the light of the full moon.

FALL INTO WINTER RUSTIC WEDDING

This romantic wedding shoot takes wedding flowers from fall to winter. Each bouquet was designed using premium artificial flowers and greenery from Afloral.com. On the day of our shoot, we woke to stormy weather. Our initial reaction was, “Eek! What are we going to do now?” but we embraced it, and are so glad we did! The rain gave us the genuine moodiness we dreamt of for a romantic fall wedding. No other day would have been as perfect as it was definitely meant to be… Of course, we know faux flowers are THE BEST, but when setting up a styled shoot the weather did give us cause for concern. We were thrilled to see the bridal bouquets didn’t look the slightest bit affected by the rain. The flowers remained as perfect as they did the day we designed them (weeks prior!). The fall bouquet was filled with the highest quality silk flowers. The dried floral accents gave it the look and feel of autumn. Imagine walking down the street and hearing the fall leaves crunching under your feet… that is how the bouquet made us feel. Silk mustard peonies, jumbo burgundy ranunculus, ivory dahlia, faux tomato accents, and wild eucalyptus sprays were gorgeously accented with preserved oak leaves in brown tones, detailed dried salal leaves, fuzzy dried foxtail millet grass in brown, and draping dried red amaranthus.

We brought beauty to the table… literally. Tying in the same color palette we used in the bridal bouquet, this sweetheart table set the most elegant & romantic mood. The beauty of the white flowers stood out elegantly in the flickering candlelight. It was a rustic, fall wedding dream come true. When it came time to swap fall for winter, we simply removed the truly autumnal florals and replaced them with wintery whites and greenery. The winter bouquet was magical with its wild, organic shape and cool color scheme. The red's and yellows that were prominently featured in the fall bouquet were replaced with cream white peonies, cafe au lait dahlias, and lush vanilla roses. In the place of fall leaves were lifelike juniper and cedar sprays, complimented with wild blue berry bundles. Finished with velvet and silk ribbons, this bouquet was a winter wedding dream. The thoughtful accents are what we believe truly make your wedding day that much more special. Your heart will flutter when you see how perfectly the grooms boutonniere matches the grand bridal bouquet and table centerpieces. These special touches will add to the memories of your special day. Artificial flowers were the key to a successful day. Rain, snow, or shine, these blooms will stay forever fresh. They are available throughout the year so you can start your wedding designs early, and the absolute best part... you can keep your faux flower creations forever!
