STRIPES!

Here's a bold and beautiful medley of inspo. Stripes can be wide or thin, but they always add clean, precise lines to wedding attire or decor, or as a bow around bouquets. Blues and pinks go particularly well with nautical and Eastern Seaboard themes. Do you perchance remember Cecil Beaton's marvelous set design and costumes in the 1964 musical, My Fair Lady? What particularly inspired me about the Ascot Gavotte number was the effect of black-and-white stripes. Sharp, clear, and just plain gorgeous!  Below are a few inspiring ideas zeroing in on stripes.
