Pure and white, meet
MONIQUE! This surpliced gem was one of my first designs and years later I have to admit it's still in my top three favorites of all time, still in the collection going strong. The fabric is a beautiful 4-ply crepe that clings to the body and moves like a dream.
For me, creating a piece like this was inspired by Hollywood's golden era when women were finally free of corsets, girdles even bras. The body-hugging bias-cut that once upon a time was a radical concept, has become classic. Each time I recreate this dress, the fabric and linings are hand-selected for each bride. Perfect for the bride wanting to add some drama while showing off a fit and toned body on her wedding day . . .
