KEEPING IT LIGHT

My advice for brides who want to get hitched in a far off place is always, keep it light. Designing and creating, I'm always striving to keep silhouettes relatively slim and light as a feather so they can board planes and go on car trips without encumbering the bride with lots of volume and heavy fabrics. I'm talking inside and out here, lighter linings. Below are a few designs perfect for that get away wedding whether on the beach, against the backdrop of a city scape or tucked away in the mountains. A few fabrics ideal for traveling are chiffon, organza, crepe satins, lightweight cotton, tulle, lightweight laces and tissue taffeta.

The gown in the first picture (The Alexendra Dress) is lovely. It is so filmy, and at the same tome so elegant. What a wonderful dress it would be for an outdoor Summer wedding!

Sheila

Gowns with light embroidery work also looks fashionable. they give simple yet elegatn look to the bride with a flower veil and a bouquete.
