STYLED SHOOT IN THE SAN JUAN ISLANDS

The San Juan Islands in Washington State have to be hands down one of the numero uno 'must see' places on earth.  When this styled shoot by Brit of Solie Designs Photography came through my inbox, I was totally jazzed.  The intimacy between this bride and groom as well as the backdrop I found so inspiring for an elopement-style ceremony. I'm totally loving the sustainable factor behind this whole collab.  Now a few words from Brit on this amazing shoot, "I did a styled shoot on Lopez Island in the San Jauns.  Lindsey & Justin are an adventurous couple so shooting on a cliff over looking shark reef seemed just like them.   The inspiration was wild and free, so I wanted to keep the shoot as natural as possible.  I used materials like drift wood, sand, wildflowers and ferns from the actual site.  I made straps for the brides dress with Feathers and a flower necklace from a wildflower I found on site.  All flowers were from a local market rapped with twine and accent arrows were made out of a natural Birch tree from NorthWest-Midwest on Etsy.  The Party favors were wild berry infused vodka which I used raspberries from a local market and made myself.  The table was a recycled door with burlap placemats.  Invitations were from Smitten on Paper.  Photos , Stylizing and Flowers were all done by me Solie Designs.  Second shooter and style helper Jessica Hunter and videographer RP Imagery.
