ANDREA AND MARK'S LAKE COMO WEDDING

How gorgeous is this destination wedding?  The historical Villa Cipressi is a complex of buildings and gardens steeped in history built between 1400-1800 on the edge of Lake Como, Italy, one of my favorite places on earth.
Andrea, the bride, originally from Slovakia and Mark the groom from the UK always dreamed of having a romantic lakeside wedding.  The wedding ceremony took place on a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake glistening in the sunlight as the couple said their vows.  Afterwards, the wedding celebrations followed the Italian tradition of apertivo (situated on another terrace with fabulous views of the lake) with an array of locally produced food and of course, chilled Prosecco, to toast the happy couple.  Andrea and Mark organized a boat tour of the lake for friends and family.  Later, the couple and their guests enjoyed dining al fresco with a sumptuous  wedding breakfast and after the sun had set, dancing under the stars . . .
