THE PRINTED GOWN

Not long ago my husband officiated at a wedding where the bride wore a brown and white polka dot cocktail dress. Not long after, we were invited to another wedding where the bride donned a tropical print sundress. I really do believe prints are one trend brides are bringing into the fashion arena a step ahead of the designers. Why? It seems to be a choice brides have taken all on their own. Prints can be adventuresome especially when accessorized. Imagine long pink gloves or a hot pink veil with the pink Max Chaoul ball gown. When else could you wear a beige or brown picture hat to your wedding than with this gorgeous hourglass print above by Giambattista Valli? Oh the possibilities . . .
