OUR HAUNTED LOVE

Happy Halloween and what a treat we have for you today.  Atlanta based, Bree Lenker of Brianna Marie Photography has captured another gem and here's what she has to say about today's shoot: "I wanted to make this styled shoot not quite Halloween inspired, but more gothic. I plan out 12- 15 styled shoots that I host, plan, and photograph every year. This particular one is October's surprise! Enjoy. . .

THE FROSTED FOREST

Living in a part of the world where beautiful sunny days are at a premium - we wanted to showcase an outside the box location and look so we took to the forest, and we are extremely excited at the result. This setting resulted in a whimsical and mysterious scene that included lose florals, earthy greens, hanging crystal chandeliers, a timeless Victorian lace wedding dress, Mercury Glass and Silver accents .. and then there was that cake!!  Offering a unique approach to the classic cake table, we hung the wedding cake from the tress! So many unreal elements with this styled shoot that add the perfect amount of fairytale to an otherwise scenic and natural setting.

A WALK IN THE FOREST ELOPEMENT

These two didn't want to start off their marriage in debt so they did all the work themselves.  This is an affordable elopement that brings back what weddings are all about: A union between two people in love, not guests or all the fanfare. They have made an amazing setup on a budget in a beautiful location without breaking the bank . . . .

A MINIMALIST AND ROMANTIC WEDDING

Simplicity is what Anaheim-based photographer, Kelly Hogrebe of Kelly H Photo has captured in this series of minimalist wedding images.  Inspiration galore here if you're wanting to pare down the glitz and go with the elegance of basics.  Says Kelly, "Sometimes when planning a wedding it can be easy to get lost in all the little details and décor options. You may think you need extravagant centerpieces or fancy favors, but there’s so much to be said for the minimal touch and there is beauty in simplicity. It is important to remember what the day is about- the couple’s commitment to one another and celebrating that. So we wanted to do something that would showcase them as a couple. Rather than eliminating details, we strived to keep it simple. Without the fuss of decor everywhere distracting from the main event, it allowed the couple to be the focal point. For the ceremony, we had the attention right where it should be - on the bride and groom and for the reception we brought in simple and natural elements that would allow the bride and groom to still shine wherever they chose to go in the venue. To avoid the stress of a big production we incorporated some minimalist tendencies: We eliminated the unnecessary so you could focus on the important. The venue was limited to one place, allowing everyone to stay in the moment of the celebration and share in the couples enjoyment, the guest list was kept small to include the guests who truly knew the couple’s relationship, and the greenery allowed the atmosphere to feel natural while staying budget conscious. This wedding was all about the couple’s relationship. The laughter, the romanticism, the love, the happiness -- that all needs to be celebrated and we hope this minimalistic scenery allowed that."
