SOMETHING IN LACE

I love everything about this styled shoot by Y Bowyer Photography for Oakland-based designer Robin Densten of Recapture. Robin is a designer who specializes in revamping vintage dresses for contemporary brides by appointment in her design studio. One of the great things about wedding couture the past couple years is, everything's changing--a real mash up of old and new.  Brides wanting Viva la Difference when it comes to laces and fabrics are looking for options just like these.   Cotton and crocheted laces worn with boots lend some cache and a little edge, perfect for that smaller or destination style wedding that's making a comeback.
