SHOES GOING HUED

It all started with that red sash. My client Donna (above) wanted to experiment with picking up some color. How about you? Are your shoes going to be in hue? Believe me, even brides all dressed in white from veil to hem are opting for green, blue, red or yellow shoes under their gown. Actually I'm not certain this is a passing trend so much as tradition broken. White pumps and sandals with white gowns will always be with us. Now though, so will any shoe in any color that works under your gown . . .

Those Vivi's are SO popular! I like the diverse selection of colored shoes. Love the abstract 'bow' on that reddish one.

I love the surprise of color! I wore a cocktail length white dress so it was silver shoes with lots of bling for me.

I never thought to purchase coloured shoes for a wedding... I've definitely changed my mind, in the past I was 100% convinced a pair of silver swarovski encrusted shoes... Happy New Year :)

I actually think that a monochromatic head to toe look is so bridal chic, but I do love the personality of a colored shoe. I'm most likely going to wear black satin platforms with my ivory dress, but for a practical reason: I don't want to purchase "wedding" shoes I'll probably never wear again. I also love the Jimmy Choo Clue platforms but unless I get invited to a red carpet event I doubt I'll wear those (nor can I afford them).
