Abigail lace gown by Nandi Chin

Last week I did a post for Savvy Scoop Blog all about the new Wedzu phenomenon sweeping cyber space. What is Wedzu, you ask?  Wedzu is--as one commenter on Savvy Scoop put it--Etsy on wedding steroids. Imagine finding a spot online exclusively for weddings a little bit like Etsy with some of BHLDN's shabby-chic thrown in for good measure. is a site just for brides featuring some of the best indie designers out there. What Etsy has midwifed, Wedzu may very well be raising as the wedding industry's wunderkind. If its handmade by an indie designer, chances are you'll find it on Wedzu. Check out their site and you'll find everything from invitations, bridesmaid dresses, veils and hats, fascinators, jewelry and wedding dresses. Yes, most of the same designers you'll find on Etsy have a spot on Wedzu as well but I did find a few on this site I'd never seen anywhere.
