STRIPES

Bold and beautiful, stripes can be large or small in scale but always add clean precision to a wedding look, decor or as a bow around bouquets. Blues go particularly well with nautical and Eastern Seaboard themes. Do you perchance remember Cecil Beaton's marvelous set design and costumes in the 1964 musical, My Fair Lady? The thing that particularly inspired me about the Ascot Gavotte number was the effect of black and white stripes in color. Sharp, clear and just plain gorgeous!  Below are a few inspiring ideas zeroing in on stripes . . . .

Strips in a wedding gown? Wow, I am in love the outfit and out of the box thinking. Also, the arrangements are also matching with the groom wearing a striped Bow-tie, amazing!
