CHIC OF THE WEEK

Just listed on ETSY, The MISSY Dress is the perfect tea gown and has been in the Gatsby's Bride Collection as a custom piece for some time now.  I decided to post this once I realized how simply gorgeous the lace is and how beautifully it falls and drapes.  The era on this beauty?--it could date back to WW1, as well a the 1920s-30s.  MISSY is actually a  silk shantung slip dress wrapped in a double tier of tulle apron and bordered in Chantilly lace. Covered buttons line the back of the dress and its lined in soft silk charmeuse.

Love the vintage look of the bride as well as her wedding dress! So gorgeous!

Vintage is always the trend setter and people loved the look whether one adapts it on casuals or the wedding dress. This gown is similar to what my Grandmother's mother must have weared on her big day, but its quite good looking.
