THE CHIC SIDE OF SHABBY

Want to add some shabby chic elements to your wedding day celebration?  Today's medley of pics is all about understanding that getting the aesthetic behind shabby chic isn't as difficult as you might imagine.  Add something very elegant like fine china to a rustic backdrop and you've nailed the look.  Ditto the fashion element.  The finest lace you can find upcycled into a skirt with a mismatched lace bodice or top--you get the idea . . . .Juxtapose is the key here fusing the gold and all that glitters with something rustic that is weathered or belongs to the earth . . . .

The shabby look was displayed wonderfully and with elegance. These chic wedding gowns are the ones that can make the image of a bride like a princess.
