UP AND COMING: BEHIND THE SCENES AT MADRONA MANOR
Here's a sneak peek of one of the most incredible styled shoots I've had the honor of doing thus far. Every vendor on this project contributed a unique set of talents creating a fusion of unbelievable eye candy. Florist and event designer, Victoria Marshall conceived this shoot months back. When she contacted me about it I was over the moon excited to work with her again (you can see her stuff here and here). As it turned out, incorporating flowers and greenery amid acres of carefully cultivated gardens in the wine country was the theme. There are no words for Victoria's bouquets and table decor. She also lent her roses, peonies and ranunculus both living and silk made to be worn on sashes and in hair.

She understands how light works and her images have a dreamlike, ethereal quality yet are definitely grounded in the reality of the moment . . . Below: I shot these images of Katy in the LILA Dress between changes and tweaked them in sepia tones--apropos for the interior of Madrona Manor done up in turn of the century glam .
Above: Can you believe this pretty bouquet dappled in jewels is silk made? Below: Victoria's table and decor against the backdrop of our lovely host venue, The Madrona Manor Inn and Restaurant in Healdsburg, situated in the very heart of the wine country.
We had two Katys on this shoot: Make up artist and hair stylist extraordinaire Katy Marshall at work on Katy, our model.
