5 TRENDS FOR AUTUMN

Happy Monday!  I thought we'd start out the week with a forward look into a few autumn trends that have me really swooning. Every April and October bridal designers show their collections at the NYC market so I thought it might be a good time with the change of seasons coming to check out all the chic that's hottest on the wedding couture front.
BLUSH--All things that blush seem to be out there and really coming into their own in bridal fashion.  Since more designers are adding blush to collections, it is much easier to add to and compliment it.  Claire LaFaye's blush pink chiffon dress pictured above is one of the hottest ways to blush

THE BUBBLE VEIL-Poufs of tulle and French netting are enjoying a revival.  Popular in the mid-1960s, bubble veils are back with their very own twist to pair up nicely with today's wedding dresses.
CROCHETED LACE-Brides wanting Viva la Difference when it comes to laces are looking for options just like these.   Cotton and crocheted laces  lend some cache and a little edge, perfect for that smaller or destination style wedding that's making a comeback.
BELL SLEEVES-Airy and floaty, another chic revival from the 1960s are bell aka angel sleeves.  Making the comeback, you'll mostly find them paired up with soft and flowing dresses .....

LOOSE BRAIDS--Have you thought of fabulous hairstyling instead of a veil or headpiece?  For some brides who don't feel comfortable sporting any sort of head chic, going with romantic, Downton Abbey-inspired loose braids is a no brainer and quite stylish alternative to the traditional veil or even a headpiece . . .
