ERIN AND JONATHAN'S SAVANNAH WEDDING

Once I found this gorgeous wedding in my box I just knew then and there I had to share it with you.  Southern weddings typically have me at hello because they're steeped in tradition while at the same time incorporating some original and inspiring personal details.
After Jonathan proposed to Erin on the steps of a Savannah church they decided to share the charm and joy  the town brought them with their families. Savannah would be the ideal location for their destination wedding.
With a small budget and a love for crafting, Erin decided to design and create as much what she could for the wedding on her own (and with the help of family and friends). She created reserved signs for tables and chairs, navy and white table runners, and mason jars with chalkboard hearts as favors. When it came time to pick out invitations, she realized that she could spend less and get exactly what she wanted by creating them herself. One of her favorite DIY wedding projects was the program. It showed their personalities while entertaining the guests.
The bluff of the Charles H. Morris Center was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Bloomin’ Bouquets, close friends and florist, brought the bride’s vision to life. They created beautiful centerpieces using pieces of wood, lanterns, candles, wooden boxes made by Erin’s uncle, and a variety of orange flowers. Erin’s sister made signs for the cupcake table and for the favors using navy frames and burlap flowers.
The bride and groom enjoyed dancing and celebrating with loved ones, but one of their favorite memories was a surprise. The party moved outside to enjoy the fireworks show that the city of Savannah does on the first Friday of every month. When the night was over they exited through a tunnel of orange streamers and Auburn flags to a pedi-cab and began their journey together.
