Here's a styled shoot from Down Under so incredibly gorgeous in details, I could feast on images like this every day of the year. Check out the crocheted laces and roses in blush pinks and soft yellows. And of course there's the country backdrop. The photography was done by Kristy Mason of Figtree Pictures. Said Kristy about photographing this styled shoot: "This shoot was so incredibly fun. I started dreaming of how I would do my wedding again if I could... and if I could... it would be just like this : We headed down to Byron Bay on a gloriously sunny Autumn day. Peachy Vintage styled the day and prepared all of the gorgeous florals, including the bride's headpiece and bouquet. Casey's ideas and themes were brilliant! Jennifer Gifford supplied not one but two... that's right... two amazingly beautiful dresses. Paper Dolls crafted the wonderful stationery and table settings and seating plans, perfectly matched with the theme of the day. Leah from Wedding Hair by Leah was our incredible hair and makeup stylist. The deliciously decadent cake was shipped in (OK, not literally shipped in!) by from Charlotte at Let Them Eat Cake. The wonderful models were Levi and Dayna....how stunning are they!? ...and of course the superb location was 'Fig Tree Restaurant' in Byron Bay. "
I initially created this space for my clients. Eventually brides looking for that touch of wow found their way here. Draping and playing with fabric started some twenty years back when I did a three-year stint as a bridal fabrics buyer. After that I opened Bridal Alternatives, a custom design studio and ever since have had the opportunity of working with brides who want that extraordinary one-of-a-kind dress. I'm in love with fashion history and re-invention of the past.
