SOUTHERN CHARM

Today's post is a medley of absolutely stunning bridal portraits by Louisana-based photographer, Micahla Wilson. She says, "This shoot embodies our southern culture in Northern Louisiana. We love our enormous trees that you can sit on and sip your sweet tea. White porches and gorgeous sunset light define our state. Tori lives in California, but is from a small little town of Haughton in Louisiana. She wanted something that reminded of her town for her bridals. She wore her grandma's earrings as a tribute to the beautiful woman that she is."
I'm loving how the other wedding pros in this portrait shoot blended all the best elements to capture the romantic mood--totally inspiring and incredibly gorgeous!!!

CHIC OF THE WEEK

Once a week I feature a dress from one of four of my capsule collections.  This dress called ANASTASIA couldn't get anymore Gatsby's Bride if we tried.  In fact, it has to be the Gatsbyiest I've ever done!  Based on the chemise silhouette so trendy during the Jazz Age, ANASTASIA focuses on something simple and comfy to wear with intricate detailing.  The dress itself is a Point d'sprit with Chantilly lace motifs, cutouts and by-the-yard galloons placed on the dress adorned by hand done pearl beading.  Off a dropped waist lightweight silk chiffon handkerchiefs fall into a skirt front and back.  Any bride contemplating a 1920s look will love this custom piece available through special order via Amy-Jo Tatum

BOLD BLOOMS

There are some different and marvelous forms of excellence.  Combine the right designer with photographer, florist and paper creator and the results are what we have here--pure beauty gaurenteed to inspire!  Based out of Australia, Shae Estrella Photography put together this styled shoot created to celebrate the coming of spring and summer, with bold floral colors, gorgeous lace gowns and a stunning new Canberra wedding location. A vibrant hanging installation of floral elegance created by Laurel and Lace provided the perfect backdrop to the Anna Campbell gowns. The models were immersed in a sea of florals, including bright poppies, ranunculus, roses and cherry blossoms and allowed all of the other details to pop.

MEMORIES

Remembering the fabulous Prismatic Butterfly shoot for Kirameki Magazine styled by the super creative Sharron Fisher and shot by Molly Van Kley of MVK Photo. Love the way the pinks and lavendars meld together
