Today we take a breather away from my own gorg designs and focus on an absolutely stunning set of images and gowns captured by Jess Lauren Photography. Admit it, if there's a designer who has the unique gift of creating Boho gowns in all their glory it has to be Claire Pettibone. Set her wood nymph chic against this incredible backdrop of Oak Canyon Ranch and magic is created. Here's what the photographer says about putting together this shoot: "Oak Canyon Ranch, with its majestic trees and whimsical design elements such as a wishing well and bench swings made a perfect setting. Working with Orange Dove Events, I designed a stylized shoot that could tell a story. Evoking a French "boho" style we added a bit of fairy tale glamour--chose gowns and accessories designed by Claire Pettibone from her Still Life Collection--"Papillon" with butterflies and flowers trailing down her back. The designer describes it as "Ivory beaded floral embroidery lined in pearl silk with garden sheer back of flowers and butterflies. "And for the castle arch we featured from the Gothic Angel Collection"Evangeline" a three-quarter"length sleeve French silver lace bodice with flowing metallic silver lace skirt and jeweled appliqués. The pale pink dress is by Gemy Couture. A few of the shots were taken at Lobo Castle, a nearby sister property. . Nestled in the hills of Malibu, California, Oak Canyon Ranch has never been opened to the public for weddings until now."
Be sure you check out the video
by Chris Costa of this scenic property in all its splendor. Also you can see the photographer at work up close getting all these amazing images of fashion, decor and scenery . . . .
